The company reported full-year revenue of HK $302 million and saw a strong recovery in the second half of the year

On June 22, Emperor Entertainment Hotels announced its annual results. For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company's revenue was HK $302 million, down 73.60% year on year. The loss attributable to the owner of the company was HK $178 million, compared with a profit of HK $264 million for the same period, an underlying loss of HK {文章内容}.15 per share, and a proposed final dividend of HK {文章内容}.015 per share.

During the year, due to the Novel Coronavirus epidemic, travel restrictions were imposed around the world, resulting in a significant decrease in the number of visitors to Australia, which seriously affected the Group's business operations. Nevertheless, the Group's business performance in the second half of the year improved significantly thanks to the resumption of the Individual Visit Scheme for Mainland Chinese Residents to Macao in September 2020, which significantly improved the number of visitors to Macao and released pent-up gaming demand. The group's total revenue for the year was HK $302 million and the second half of the year was 125% higher than the first half, indicating a strong recovery in the second half of the year.
